13 substances were added to the List of Controlled Narcotics and Psychotropic Drugs for Non-medical Use in China-Jun 24,2025

In accordance with the Regulations on the Control of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and the Measures for the Control of Non-Medicinal Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, the Ministry of Public Security, National Health Commission, and National Medical Products Administration jointly announced on June 19, 2025 the inclusion of "Etomidate Analogs" (Niqin-like substances), Trifluoroethylimidate, and 10 other substances into the Supplementary List of Controlled Non-Medicinal Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances. This announcement shall take effect from July 1, 2025.
