With the joint cooperation of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the National Health Commission, the Inventory of Priority Controlled Substances is hereby formulated and will be released in batches. The inventory enumerates chemicals that have intrinsic hazardous properties, and that may exist in the environment for a long time or that may pose a greater risk to the environment and human health. Currently, 40 chemicals in 2 batches have been published in the inventory.
