List of New Pollutants for Priority Control in China (2023) shall come into force on Mar 1, 2023.There are 14 new pollutants under priority control, including 10 persistent organic pollutants (POPs), 2 toxic and hazardous pollutants, 1 environmental endocrine disruptor and 1 antibiotic. Entry 14 enumerates chemicals that have been phased out and their definitions are consistent with chemicals specified in the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.
