Japan CSCL-Monitoring Chemical Substances
Monitoring chemical substances refer to substances that are persistent and highly bioaccumulative and whose long-term toxicity to humans or predator animals at higher trophic level is unclear. In accordance with the Chemical Substance Control Law (CSCL), monitoring chemical substances are jointly regulated and published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) and the Ministry of the Environment (MOE).
