This standard specifies the permissible limits of harmful substances to human health and the environment involved in the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging marks, and implementation of the standard, and is applicable to all types of vehicle coatings except putty, including OEM automotive coatings, automotive repair coatings, rail transit vehicle coatings, motorcycle (including electric motorcycles) coatings, bicycle (including electric bicycles) coatings, other vehicle (special operation vehicles, low-speed cars, trailers, etc.) coatings, and vehicle component coatings, but not applicable to coatings for tractor transport units, wheeled special machinery vehicles, and military vehicle coatings.
