It covers product classification, hazard labeling of coatings, requirements, inspection rules, labeling, and implementation of the document. It describes the corresponding test methods and is applicable to both on-site and factory coatings for decorating, protecting, and providing other functions to surfaces made of wood, metal, plastic, concrete, composite materials, glass, ceramic, etc. It includes all types of industrial coatings and their auxiliary materials. However, it does not apply to aerospace coatings, nuclear-grade protective coatings, or coatings used for military equipment and facilities.
