Regulation (EU) on persistent organic pollutants/EU POPs

The EU POPs regulation specifies the control of the production, placing on the market, and use of certain harmful substances, the control of the substance list, exemptions, inventory management, reduction, minimization, and elimination of emissions, waste management, the duties of institutions and forums, implementation plans, monitoring, information exchange, technical assistance, performance monitoring, penalties, etc. It is applicable to the control of persistent organic pollutants in the EU.
