(EU) Commission Directive 2007/42/EC on Materials and Articles Made of Regenerated Cellulose Film Intended to Come into Contact with Foodstuffs

This directive specifies regulations for materials and articles made of regenerated cellulose film intended to come into contact with food within the EU. It includes definitions of regenerated cellulose film, specific requirements, migration tests, approved substances list, and specific substance limits. It applies to regenerated cellulose films described in Annex I of this directive, intended to come into contact with food or already in contact due to their use, whether they constitute finished products themselves or are part of finished products containing other materials.
