This draft standard sets out technical requirements for aquatic toxicity testing of chemicals with difficult-to-test properties, including identification of difficult-to-test properties, improvements to testing methods, analysis of exposure concentrations, and characterization of toxicity results. It supplements the aquatic toxicity testing methods involved in HJ/T153 and is applicable to acute and chronic toxicity tests on aquatic organisms such as algae, daphnia, and fish using dilution water or liquid media as the exposure medium.
