(USA) Vermont Act on the Regulation of Consumer Products Containing Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances or Other Chemicals

This Vermont legislation revises existing statutes to enhance the regulation of consumer products containing perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as well as other hazardous chemicals. The act covers a wide range of products including cosmetics and sanitary pads, PFAS in consumer products, revisions to PFAS in textiles, firefighting foams and equipment, chemicals in food packaging, implementation plans, compliance notifications, and the presence of lead in cosmetics. It applies to the regulation of consumer products containing PFAS and other hazardous chemicals manufactured and sold within Vermont.
