Four Industrial Chemicals Officially Added to AIIC in Australia

On July 28, 2025, the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) officially announced that, in accordance with Section 82 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, four industrial chemicals were formally added to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (AIIC) because 5 years have passed since the assessment certificates for the industrial chemicals were issued. This measure aims to strengthen the regulation of industrial chemicals to ensure their safe use, protect human health, and safeguard environmental safety.
