UK Releases the 7th Edition of the Mandatory Classification and Labelling List, Adding 30 Hazardous Substances to New Regulations

On September 16, 2025, the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) officially issued the seventh edition of the Great Britain Mandatory Classification and Labelling (GB MCL) List, introducing new and revised classification criteria for 30 hazardous chemical substances.

The new regulations came into effect on September 23, 2025, with a final compliance deadline of March 23, 2027. Relevant businesses must adjust product labeling, safety data sheets (SDS), and supply chain management processes during this period.
