Chemical Name

CAS number

Defined scope of assessment

Listing date

Phosphorous acid, triphenyl ester, polymer with 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol and .alpha.-hydro-.omega.-hydroxypoly[oxy(methyl-1,2-ethanediyl)], C10-16-alkyl esters

1821217-71-3

The polymer has been assessed:

  • as imported into Australia at up to 1 tonne/year
  • as imported into Australia neat as a liquid, or at up to 8% in masterbatch pellets
  • for end use in the production of plastic and polymer products at a concentration of up to 0.15%, including for use in articles intended for food contact use.
  • when used in articles intended for food contact use:
  • the polymer is not included in articles in contact with infant formula or human milk
  • the polymer has a low molecular weight fraction (less than 1000g/mol) of up to 13% concentration
