CIRS reminds companies that have introduced or intend to introduce this chemical of the following two points:

  1. Verify introduction circumstances: companies that have already introduced the chemical should check whether their introduction circumstances are consistent with those in the AICIS assessment; if not, they must fulfil the notification obligation within 28 days;
  2. Listed introduction route opened: with the chemical now on the AIIC, other companies may introduce it as an inventory-listed chemical without applying for an assessment certificate for it, while still complying with the specific information requirements attached to the listing.
