On July 25, 2025, the Australian government issued a notice announcing amendments to the "Specific Information Requirement" (SIR) terms for 2,297 chemicals listed in the inventory, in accordance with Section 85 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019 (IC Act). These changes took effect on July 25, 2025.
