China, Guangzhou List of Hazardous Chemicals Prohibited, Restricted and Controlled

On August 26, 2025, the Guangzhou Municipal Emergency Management Bureau issued the Guangzhou List of Hazardous Chemicals Prohibited, Restricted and Controlled, which took effect immediately upon publication and will remain valid for five years. The List regulates the prohibition, restriction, and control of hazardous chemicals in Guangzhou, serving as a guideline for their management within the city’s administrative areas, excluding port and harbor zones. Within chemical parks, the respective park’s List of Hazardous Chemicals Prohibited, Restricted and Controlled shall apply.
