This standard is Part 3 of the TCVN 12512 series of standards and is intended for use in conjunction with TCVN 12512-1:2018 (ISO 14362-1:2017). This standard specifies a test method for determining the presence of certain azo dyes in textiles that may release 4-aminoazobenzene (4-Aminoazobenzene, CAS No. 60-09-3) in textiles, including reference documents, terms and definitions, general requirements, safety warnings, and requirements for test reports. It applies to the testing of azo dyes in textiles that may form 4-aminoazobenzene, particularly in textile materials made from cellulose and proteins, such as cotton and wool.
