This amendment includes: Section 1: Definitions of general provisions; Section 4: Identification and classification of goods for safety and fitness for carriage, provision of information, certification of tests, sampling procedures, and documents required for ships carrying dangerous goods; Section 7: Introduction to and regulations on cargoes prone to liquefaction, including an overview; Section 8: Testing procedures for cargoes prone to liquefaction; Section 9 :Hazard classification for goods with chemical hazards; Appendix 1 :The list of all solid bulk cargoes; Appendix 2 :Laboratory test procedures and related equipment and standards; Appendix 3 :Characteristics of solid bulk cargoes; Appendix 4: Index; and Appendix 5 :Names of bulk cargoes in three languages (English, Spanish, and French). It is applicable to activities related to the international maritime transportation of solid bulk cargoes.
