On June 25, 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially announced the 34rd batch of three Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). As of now, the total number of SVHCs (also known as the Candidate List for Authorization) has reached 250. These chemicals may pose risks to human health or the environment. Companies are responsible for managing the risks associated with these chemicals and for providing relevant information on their safe use to customers and consumers.
