China List of Hazardous Chemicals for Priority Management

List of Hazardous Chemicals for Priority Management(2013) (hereinafter referred to as “the List”) is composed of the First Batch of List of Hazardous Chemicals for Priority Management and the Second Batch of List of Hazardous Chemicals for Priority Management. Under the background of chemical accidents at home and abroad, chemical productions, chemicals under supervision at home and abroad, and the intrinsic properties of chemicals, the State Administration of Work Safety (replaced by the Ministry of Emergency Management) made a selection of over 3,800 chemicals in the Catalog of Hazardous Chemicals (2002) and compiled the First Batch of List of Hazardous Chemicals for Priority Management on June 21, 2011. To further strengthen supervision and highlight the safety management of hazardous chemicals, the State Administration of Work Safety published the Second Batch of List of Hazardous Chemicals for Priority Management on February 5, 2013. Thus the List of Hazardous Chemicals for Priority Management (2013) was hereby formulated.
