On 22 June 2026, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) issued Announcement No. 23 of 2026, pursuant to the Export Control Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on Export Control of Dual-Use Items, to safeguard national security and interests and to fulfill non-proliferation and other international obligations. MOFCOM decided to add Aveox, Inc. and nine other U.S. entities to the Export Control List, effective from the date of publication.
The announcement sets out the following control measures:
- export operators are prohibited from exporting dual-use items to the above 10 entities
- organizations and individuals of any country or region are prohibited from transferring or supplying dual-use items originating in China to these entities
- ongoing relevant export activities must cease immediately
- and export operators who need to export under special circumstances must apply to MOFCOM
