In June 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) initiated a 60-day public consultation regarding harmonized classification and labelling (CLH) proposals for five chemical substances.
The CLH process aims to ensure the consistency and transparency of hazard information on chemicals across Europe. The process involves assessing the hazards of chemicals, making proposals for classification and labelling, collecting opinions in public, and undergoing final review and recommendation by the Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) of ECHA.
