25 substances were added to the EU REACH Restrictions List-June 15,2023

On October 5, 2022, the European Union (EU) submitted a notification on revising the REACH Regulation (notification number: G/TBT/N/EU/930). This draft Commission Regulation aims to include within the scope of entries 28 to 30 of Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 several substances and substances classified as CMR category 1A or 1B.

On June 9, 2023, the European Union (EU) published Regulation (EU) 2023/1132, added substances to the list of Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, or Toxic for Reproduction (CMR) substances under the REACH Regulation. This update shall come into effect on the twentieth day after its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, and these newly added 25 substances shall be effective from December 1, 2023.
