Update of Korea GHS Classification-NIER Notice No. 2024-35 -Sep 11,2024

On August 30, 2024, the National Institute of Chemical Safety (NICS) of South Korea issued Announcement No. 2024-35, which revised the "Regulations on the Classification and Labeling of Chemical Substances."

Main revisions:

Revision of six substances with the unique numbers "97-1-145", "2017-1-762", "2017-1-785", "2018-1-837", "2021-1-1068", and "2022-1-1095".
Addition of new designated toxic substances with hazard classifications and labels: Several toxic substances have been added following unique number “2024-1-1212,” ranging from “2024-1-1213” to “2024-1-1222.”
