Update to the China-National Food Safety Standard for Use of Additives for Food Contact Materials and Products (GB 9685-2016)-6 New Substances Added-Oct 11,2024

The Department of Food Safety Standards and Monitoring Evaluation of the National Health Commission of China issued a notice on October 10, 2024, regarding 12 types of "three new foods," including 2 new food ingredients, 4 new varieties of food additives, and 6 new varieties of food-related products.

The following 6 food additives have now been included in the "China-National Food Safety Standard for Use of Additives for Food Contact Materials and Products (GB 9685-2016)":
