In March 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) initiated a 60-day public consultation on proposals for harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) of multiple chemical substances.

The CLH process aims to ensure consistency and transparency in hazard information for chemicals across Europe. This procedure involves assessing the hazards of chemical substances, proposing appropriate classification and labeling, soliciting public feedback, and concluding with a final review and recommendations by ECHA’s Risk Assessment Committee (RAC).
