In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on the Administration of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and the Measures for the Scheduling of Non-Medicinal Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, the Ministry of Public Security, the National Health Commission, and the National Medical Products Administration jointly issued an announcement on June 17, 2026, to include 16 substances, including difluoroetizolam, in the Catalogue of Non-Medicinal Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, effective July 1, 2026.

Note: The scheduling of tiletamine (CAS: 14176-49-9) under this announcement excludes veterinary anesthetic preparations containing tiletamine that have been approved for marketing within the territory of China.

The EU PBT/vPvB Assessment List is an official database maintained by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) to track and publish chemical substances undergoing or having completed assessment for PBT/vPvB properties under Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH). As of June 2026, the latest version of the EU PBT Assessment List comprises 253 unique substances, with a total of 341 assessment entries.

——PBT substances are chemicals that are Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic. Such substances resist degradation in the environment, accumulate in organisms, and exert adverse effects on living organisms or ecosystems.
——vPvB substances are chemicals that are very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative. Even where direct toxicity data may be insufficient, their exceptionally high accumulation potential renders them a significant threat to the environment and human health.

Note: Inclusion in this list does not equate to formal identification as a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) or the imposition of regulatory restrictions. Final confirmation of PBT/vPvB properties requires scientific evaluation by ECHA's Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) and Socio-Economic Analysis Committee (SEAC), followed by formal decision-making by the European Commission, before any regulatory measures may take effect.

Honduras List of Prohibited Substances is formulated by the Honduran Regulatory Authority for Health (ARSA) in accordance with the Health Control Regulations, clearly prohibiting the production, import, export, distribution, possession, and use of certain substances within the territory of Honduras. The list covers narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, precursor chemicals, and other substances harmful to health. According to regulations, all medicines and health-related products must be authorized by ARSA before commercialization. Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and controlled chemicals are subject to special regulations and may only enter the country through designated customs ports. Violations of the provisions of the Prohibited Substances List will be subject to criminal, civil, and administrative penalties.

Honduras List of ARSA Newly Added Substances is regularly updated and published by the Honduran Regulatory Authority for Health (ARSA), incorporating newly discovered or newly assessed controlled substances. ARSA is responsible for formulating and updating the list of substances controlled internationally and newly added domestically. All newly added substances are automatically incorporated into the control system, and relevant enterprises must promptly monitor list updates and adjust compliance measures accordingly.

Honduras List of Narcotics and Psychotropic Drugs is formulated and regularly updated by the Honduran Regulatory Authority for Health (ARSA) in accordance with international drug control conventions. The list covers two major categories of controlled substances: Narcotic Drugs (Estupefacientes) and Psychotropic Substances (Sustancias Psicotrópicas), including opioids, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and synthetic drugs. The list incorporates substances listed in the schedules of the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs and the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances, as well as substances newly added by ARSA under domestic regulations. All activities involving the production, import, export, distribution, and use of these substances require a special permit from ARSA and are subject to regular inspections and audits.

Honduras List of Precursors and Chemicals (Lista Roja) is formulated by the Honduran Regulatory Authority for Health (ARSA), covering chemical precursor substances commonly used in the illicit manufacture of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The list includes key precursor chemicals such as N-acetylanthranilic acid, phenylacetic acid, lysergic acid, acetic anhydride, and 4-anilino-N-phenethylpiperidine (ANPP). All individuals and enterprises involved in the production, import, export, distribution, and use of these substances must register with ARSA and obtain the corresponding permits. These substances may only enter the territory of Honduras through authorized ports of entry.

On 16 June 2026, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) formally announced that, under UK REACH, the following 15 substances/groups of substances have been added to the Candidate List as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). The addition takes effect from 15 June, following a 6‑week public consultation, and HSE confirmed the inclusion after considering the responses received.

The EU Endocrine Disruptor (ED) Assessment List is maintained by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and serves to include substances that are undergoing assessment for endocrine-disrupting properties. Since February 2013, any substance considered to have or potentially have endocrine-disrupting properties has been included in the list. As of the latest update date, 27 April 2026, the list contains a total of 138 unique substances/entries.

The list comprises substances that have been submitted to the ECHA Endocrine Disruptor Expert Group for discussion. These substances are undergoing an informal hazard assessment to determine whether they possess endocrine-disrupting characteristics. The outcome of the assessment may indicate that a substance does not have endocrine-disrupting properties; however, if the assessment concludes that a substance does have such properties, formal risk management and decision-making processes must be followed to confirm these characteristics before any regulatory actions can be taken based on these properties.
