Pursuant to Articles 30 and 56 of the Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances Control Act (hereinafter referred to as the TCCC Act) promulgated by the Environmental Protection Authority of Taiwan, China, as well as Article 24 of the Regulations for New Chemical Substances and Existing Chemical Substances Registration, registrants of approved new chemical substances and existing chemical substances shall, from the year following approval, report the quantity information of new and existing chemical substances produced and imported in the previous year each year between 1 April and 30 September. Failure to complete the required reporting will result in a fine of NT30000 to NT300,000. If the violation is not rectified, the authority may order suspension of work or business closure.
Those who have obtained a valid chemical substance registration approval code must complete the annual report for the previous year within the aforementioned period. If the approval code has expired or been revoked, reporting is not required. Registrants may file the report themselves or authorise an agent (if any) to do so.
