On July 21, 2023, the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) in India announced the extension of the Quality Control Order (QCO) for the following ten substances. Detailed of these substances are listed in the following table.

Existing standards and regulations for the above 10 substances are still applicable until the new implementation date comes into effect. Relevant companies should prepare in advance and give sufficient time for data collection, product inspection and factory inspection.
