46 substances were added to and amended in the Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (IECSC)-May 16,2025

The Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China (IECSC) has been updated to include 44 new substances and amend the permitted uses of 2 existing substances.

This update covers substances announced by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment Office on April 30, 2025, comprising:

(1) 7 chemical substances from the first batch of 2025 (the 13th batch overall) that meet the requirements;

(2) 37 newly registered chemical substances that meet the requirements from the first batch of 2025 (the 15th batch overall);

(3) 2 existing chemical substances with amended permitted uses from the first batch of 2025 (the 1st batch overall).
