The latest version of Korea Restricted Substance List is available-May 16,2015

Recently, the Ministry of Environment of South Korea has released the updated Restricted Substances List, revising regulatory requirements for certain hazardous chemicals. This revision aims to strengthen the lifecycle management of chemical substances and mitigate potential risks to public health and the environment.

According to the amendments, the list now includes additional substances subject to strict usage restrictions, along with updated threshold limits. Companies must comply with reporting, labeling, and usage control regulations. The South Korean government stated that this measure aligns with international chemical management standards and urged relevant industries to promptly review their compliance status.
