On June 20, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, in conjunction with multiple departments, issued a Supplementary Announcement to the Regulations on the Control of Precursor Chemicals. This announcement adds 4-Piperidone and 1-tert-Butoxycarbonyl-4-piperidone to the Catalog of Classified Precursor Chemicals, with effect from July 20, 2025.
