The CLH process aims to ensure consistency and transparency of chemical hazard information across Europe. The procedure includes assessing the hazardous properties of chemical substances, proposing appropriate classifications and labelling, collecting public comments, and final review and recommendations by ECHA's Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC).
